Orion is a highly rigid designed laser with the precision GE Fanuc drives ensuring high accuracy cutting with a choice of 2500-Watt or a 4000-Watt laser source.
Orion is a cost effective solution for today’s laser processing needs. Orion makes advanced Laser technology practical for most metalworking shops from entry level as well as cell manufacturing. A compact powerhouse Orion handless sheet sizes up to 60” x 120” for the Orion 3015 and 80”x 160” for the Orion 4020.
Equipped with a GE Fanuc laser package the Orion is of the more efficient laser systems. Incorporating GE Fanuc laser service control motors and AC drive amplifiers provide low operation and maintenance cost which increases your productivity.
Consistent accurate cutting is achieved with our high pressure cutting head, crash protection feature and quick change 5” and 7.5” lens. These water-cooled quick change lenses use a self centering system. Lens calibration is programmable and quick to achieve.
Full cutting control on the GE Fanuc integrated laser is achieved with the Fanuc 16i LB CNC 32 bit control. It features a 9.5” color screen with large memory capacity to service an extensive data base. An Optional Cadman L-3d control package will maximize flexibility and productivity. It will include interactive or automatic nesting of different parts and shapes. You will be able to import DXF, DWG, IGES, SAT or MI files.
Automation further expands the flexibility and productivity of the Orion Cutting System.
LVD/Strippit automatic load/unload system handles sheets as large as 120” x 60” and material thickness up to 0.50 with a maximum pallet capacity of 5511 lbs.
